Sky has contracted a company called The Employee Advisory Resource (EAR) who offer confidential and impartial specialist advice and support 24/7, 365 days of the year. This service is paid for by Sky and is free for you and your loved ones to use. Amongst other things, it offers:

Telephone counselling
Available 24/7 and also available online - real time with a qualified counsellor. Six telephone counselling sessions are available to all employees and their loved ones

Health Risk assessments
A health questionnaire available for staff to complete on line that provides a tailored individual report on what people can do to better their health

Health information over the phone or online
Webex health seminars can also be accessed via the website

Debt counselling
This also includes EAR liaising with creditors to arrange repayment plans on a persons behalf

Family life solutions
Whether it is elder care, childcare, education or parenting information - EAR is there to help you and will even call childcare providers and assess availability for you as well as locate school league tables in your area

Consumer Information
A 45 minute appointment with an Independent Financial Adviser on offer as well as information on returning unwanted goods plus new and used car problems

Information from trained solicitors on taxation, wills, child tax credits & income tax
